How to make an impressive holiday time-lapse using your iPhone


Australian Jason van Genderen, also known as the Pocket Filmmaker, creates short films using an iPhone or smartphone.

He offers some quick tips on how you can create an impressive short video, using your smartphone and patience.

As the holidays hit, a lot of people will be attempting capture moments from Christmas decorations to sunset over the ocean and sharing them with the world.

If you don't want to embarrass yourself in front of your Facebook friends, van Genderen shows how you can use a matchbox or toilet rolls for stability, get the best vantage points for filming, use background action to make your piece more exciting and use an impressive lens to really make a memorable piece.
